Microsoft Copilot

GSI E-Books

Background

Indigo Slate was approached to create several partner-branded campaign toolkits for Microsoft partners to promote their emerging solutions around Copilot for Microsoft 365. Each deliverable went through multiple rounds of review with both partner brand teams and Microsoft's brand team to ensure the look, feel, and tone complied with partner marketing guidelines provided.

My role

On this project, I worked as one of two designers. Out of the 11 eBooks, I designed the content of 5 of them and the accompanying LinkedIn advertisement images. While we waited for brand guideline documents, I created moodboards for each partner with some of the latest examples of their social media content. After receiving brand documents, I would then design a limited number of sample covers based on and building on the design language commonly seen in their branding.

Outcome

By the end of the project, our team delivered 11 toolkits for prioritized partners to market their expertise with Microsoft Copilot. Each toolkit included a multi-page eBook, a one-pager, and a sample social media post to promote the eBook.

Reflection

Our team did a magnificent job of representing many clients in a tight timeline. If I could go back and do anything differently, I would want to develop an initial template to iron out wrinkles in the process between content development and design. Creating a shared language through word count recommendations, list layouts, and headline placement would have been useful for handling the unique mix of content each partner provided.
